Home visits
Physiotherapy is the use of physical treatment to facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation of many conditions.
Some patients that would benefit have difficulty attending a clinic and/or would prefer to be seen in their own home.
Included in this list of patients:
- Those requiring assessment and advice regarding mobility issues in the home setting
- Early post operative rehabilitation when travel is difficult.
- Follow-up on hospital discharge, to improve balance, confidence and mobility indoors and outdoors.
- Neurological conditions to improve and/or maintain strength and function.
Initial assessment - £75
- Full medical history and physical assessment.
- Programme and any future treatment discussed
- Follow-up exercise video or email.
Follow-up appointments - £60-65 (taking into account travel time)
